Nike Ordem 2 Hi-Vis Premier League OMB Review

by

The Nike Ordem 2 Hi-Vis OMB is the revolutionary match ball Nike created for the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A. The Ordem 2 has a bright, bold pattern and features branding from La Liga, Premier League and Serie A.

Built for the next generation of footballers, the Nike Ordem 2 offers optimal touch with unprecedented flight control and Nike Football’s newest proprietary innovation, the Aero Trac grooves are engineered to grip and channel the air to produce the truest trajectory and most consistent flight, which help ensure stability and accuracy in mid-air. This is a graphic pattern that creates a flickering effect as the ball rotates making it easier to see in a player’s peripheral vision and allowing for faster reactions and decision-making.

Controlling the ball starts with the first touch, and the Nike Ordem 2 ball is designed and engineered for a highly sensitive feel and explosive response off the foot. The ball consists of 12 fuse-welded panels in a 3-layer casing system, and a poly-blend wrapped, free-floating carbon latex bladder.

  1. Always been a fan of the hi vis balls. I wish they would use yellow or orange ball in the U.S. during winter months.

  2. Josh,
Would you be able to compare Nike’s all the official match balls by year? (Possibly make a video?)
    Nike Geo Merlin (00/01 & 01/02), Geo Merlin II (02/03 & 03/04), Total 90 Aerow (05/06), Total 90 Aerow II (06/07 & 07/08), Total 90 Omni (08/09), Total 90 Ascente (09/10), Total 90 Tracer (10/11), Seitiro (11/12), Maxim (12/13), Incyte (13/14), and Ordem 2 (14/15)
Do you see much difference between Geo Merlin and Ordem 2?
