It’s no secret that I have not been the biggest fan of the Puma Future series lately, and I’m not alone in that opinion. So when I saw an “alternate” variant of the top-end Future 9 Ultimate that features several positive looking changes, and at a significantly lower price tag, I had high hopes! Because once upon a time, the Puma Futures were some of my favorite boots on the market!
In today’s video we take a closer look at the Puma Future 9 Fusion, a mostly unadvertised “top-end” variant, that drops the normal retail price from $245 to $200! It also has a slightly different upper, a burrito style tongue, a lower-cut design at the heel and even an FG/AG stud pattern. All things that sound and look great on paper, but unfortunately, DO NOT make for a better product. I wanted to give the Future 9 a 2nd chance, but somehow it managed to get even worse. Let’s discuss.
