Of the big 3, Adidas is the last hold out when it comes to making football boots with real leather uppers. Where given how many boot enthusiasts are still not on board with the synthetic wave happening across the world of football boots right now, you would think that a modern leather Copa would be at the top of so many lists! But it’s not, and it hasn’t been, and I don’t think it will be with their latest option.
In today’s video we take a closer look at the new Adidas Copa Pure 4 Elite, a boot that I would describe as more of a refresh rather than a redesign when compared to the Pure 3 it replaces. Having said that, the changes they have made are more or less exactly what so many where asking for, but are these changes enough to make you dish out $250? That’s the real question here. We discuss the good and the bad, along with why I’d personally argue that the Copa Pure 4 Elite feels like it’s caught in the middle, and not going far enough in either the traditional or modern directions. Would you pay $250 for these?
