After a little over 2 years of the core Tiempo fanbase complaining about the Legend 10, and it’s synthetic leather upper, we now have it’s replacement! And to the dismay of many, it’s still a fully synthetic football boot. On paper, it’s not what I think a lot of us were hoping for, but give them a chance, and I think these will be a huge surprise. I’m putting my hand up, I think we were all wrong about this concept!
In today’s video we take a closer look at the new Nike Tiempo Maestro Elite, the unofficial Legend 11 that more or less changes everything from the previous model, and introduces an all-new synthetic upper called “Tech Leather”. Another synthetic Tiempo, probably not what you were hoping for, but trust me when I say, these are different! Soft, comfortable, consistent and just so easy to get along with. We go over all of the details, breaking down every change, all of the tech, how they fit and feel on feet, and figure out whether or not a synthetic Tiempo can truly feel like a Tiempo. Spoiler alert, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, it can! Nike may have just achieved the impossible.
