My goal is to provide the most detailed, in-depth reviews on all the latest soccer gear. Its very easy to get caught up in all of the hype around the latest soccer equipment, but we're here to point you in the right direction. As a product tester, I always give my honest, unbiased opinion on everything that gets tested, ensuring that you're always getting the most accurate information possible

  1. Hello Josh,
I want to buy a pair of soccer cleats and I can’t decide which one to buy. I am interested in synthetic boots and I want a pair that provides barefoot feel for the ball, good traction, lockdown, good touch and good durability. I don’t mind if it is a little bit heavy. Could you tell me what choices I have?

  2. Hey Josh, I’d just like to thank you for your advice on the Nike elastico finale’s IC from a while back. Best overall (indoor or outdoor) cleats I’ve ever had for less than $100 too! I would like to get a similar type of cleat (great touch, lightweight ~7 oz.), except for firm ground. Between the new lava blast PUMA evoSPEED 4.4, PUMA evoAccuracy 2, and the new white PUMA evoPOWER 3.2 which would be the best in terms of lightweight and good touch for a midfielder/defender like me? Also, I’ve been using a hand-me down version of the adidas adipure 11pro leather since my normal adidas nitrocharge 2.0 cleats are too small (and kinda suck when compared to my indoor shoes). The adidas 11pro have great touch, so I would like that sort of touch in my new cleats, while also having the same light weight feel of my indoor shoes. Thanks!
